We are working to build our vocabulary, use different words in our writing and understand them in our reading.
Each week a new word will be listed here. Your challenge is to find the meaning of the word, where the word comes from, a synonym (a word or phrase that means exactly or nearly the same as another word or phrase in the same language), an antonym (a word or phrase that means the OPPOSITE of this word), create a sentence using the word correctly or find a word that means the same in another language. You can either make and share a doc to Mrs Corcoran with what you have found out or put it as a comment below (remember to include the word that you are working with and your name).
